dad's beach bonfire bday

well this is WAY overdue. fall has been a whirlwind. so i guess this peek back into summer is nice. we got to spend a good amount of time in CA first half of the year. heavenly. in august we celebrated floydie's bday at the beach. it was a little last minute, but glad almost everyone could make it. can't wait to get home for a visit over the holidays.

catalina

last month we got up at the crack of dawn to sail to catalina island (one of my favorite places) we loaded up in the dark of early morning and set sail.

we started the morning with costco muffins, but i'm not allowed to start the sailing in the galley anymore because i got super sick shortly there after. boo. also- not sure what im doing here but i love how hard brooke is laughing. she regularly laughs so hard she cries.

took the men a few tries to get the anchor in right :)

the weekend of the 4th the family headed to zion for a reunion at my grandpa's homestead. i was having too much fun to take a lot of pictures, but here's a few from our hike.
