 an autumn to do list:

walk through the park everyday i can until all the leaves are gone

eat apple cider donuts
make some kind of donuts

soup, soup, and more soup

drive to blue hill cafe

go apple picking

make/eat dinner in a pumpkin

just plain apple cider

I tried to pull one of those act like you belong here maneuvers where you sneak across the security ropes and hope no one notices. unfortunately I choose to do it in the same area we'd been standing for 20 mins right next to a security guard. busted. guess im not ready to hang with neil caffery yet.  

then we went to benefit counter to stalk emily. she brought jef with her. bonus stalking points.

my pictures were all terrible because I was looking at them and not focusing the camera haha. whoops.

she was surprisingly sweet/normal for a supposed cheater. people- I dare say they're really in love... I think... I hope. haha.

we did good! 

my pajama pants as jordan calls them (even though they are denim) are not the most stealthy. I blame getting caught on my pants.

changing seasons

there is pretty much nothin like the fall here.

I'm still mourning summer's absence, but when I'm done with that I'm going to enjoy the fall.

two of my favs

that one time I did a fashion challenge it really got me thinking about dressing purposefully. my lifestyle plus the place I live usually guarantees me only two of the following three situations at any time:

+being comfortable

+feeling super cute

+dressing appropriate

if I want to be comfortable and its raining I'm probably going to wear something boring. if I want to wear a really fun/trendy outfit the shoes are most likely not going to be comfortable on a day of walking/working. if its freezing outside my nice outfit gets covered by a boring coat and boots. I don't know why but it seems to be next to impossible for me to feel really comfortable, wearing something I love, and also be dressed appropriately for work, weather, and walking. but I'm not going to give up. it seems there are plenty of women who strike a balance between all those things on a daily basis, why can't I?! baby steps I guess... ANYWAYS: tangerine and mint have had a soft spot in my heart for awhile. I love all the fun spring/summer colors right now. here are a few things I'm love/lusting over.

every year during fashion week nyc kicks the events off with basically a big shopping party called fashions night out.

stores have sales, guest events, and live models. plus a DJ and giveaways. Its pretty fun. so andrea and I started the night at bloomies to meet RZ.

let me tell you this:

 it was MA-JOR

my post work hair and rainy day outfit were not so major, but I don't think rach minded.

she's such a gem.
